Samaritan Supports, Inc.(SSI) is a family owned business that is incorporated in the District of Columbia to provide person centered healthcare services. We are a Medicaid certified healthcare service company that provides residential and day program services to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities(IDD) in every municipality in the District of Columbia.
Our team is made up of highly trained, educated, experienced and dedicated professionals who adhere to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism. In the spirit of the Good Samaritan (from which our name and inner purpose is derived), we strive to be at the frontline of ensuring that persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities can truly and unreservedly exercise their unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and deserve to be treated with respect and dignity in a least restrictive environment and to be assured the maximum opportunities for self-determination.
As a service delivery organization for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, our staff from managerial to healthcare and Direct Support Professionals have as end goals and objectives, the achievement of the following core values for the persons we serve: Choice and decision making, Rights and dignity, community inclusion, safety and security, health and wellness and relationships.
